Lupu, Vivian, maybe William HELLER.
(He was called Zeev in Hebrew, and "Velvale" in Yiddish.

Born 1935 in Mandatory Palestine

Vivi is the son of Moritz SUHAR (originally from Iasi, Romania) and his first wife Jenny GLANSTEIN originally from Newark, N.J., U.S.A..

Jenny GLANSTEIN was born in 1916 in Newark, N.J., U.S.A. She was the daughter of Mendel GLANSTEIN who immigrated to the U.S. from Romania in 1903. Mendel GLANSTEIN, and his family returned to Romania between 1933 and 1934.

Jenny subsequently died in Romania in December 1944.

Vivi's father, Moritz SUHAR was born on May 24, 1903 in Iasi, Romania.(He went to Palestine in 1935.)
The family returned to Romania in 1937.

Some time between 1937 and 1945 Moritz divorced Vivi's mother.

Moritz SUHARS remarried and subsequently emigrated to Israel with his new family on Dec. 5, 1961. He died in Israel on Apr. 4, 1976.

Vivi's mother Jenny GLANSTEIN had a twin sister by the name of Deli or Delia GLANSTEIN, in Ashdod or Ashkelon, Israel. Deli died in Israel in 1999.

After the death of his mother Vivian HELLER lived with his maternal grandparents until 1948 or 1949 probably in Focsani, Moldova, Romania.

In that period Vivian visited his father in Bucharest from time to time.

His maternal grandparents sent him to Port Chester, N.Y. in the U.S.A. in 1948, or 1949
possibly to live with distant relatives of the GLANSTEINS. This was the HELLER family in Port Chester, NY USA who adopted him. Consequently VIVAN adopted the family name HELLER.

Vivi was a U.S. citizen since his mother had been a U.S. citizen.

He entered the U.S. between 1948 and 1950 and joined his relatives in Port Chester, N.Y.

Vivian HELLER married Phyllis GOLDSMITH of Montreal, Canada in the early 1960's. They have three children:

Eugene HELLER born on July 30, 1965 in Montreal
Jennifer HELLER born on March 22, 1965 in Montreal
Simon HELLER born on March 22, 1965 in Montreal

The last known address of the HELLER family was Montreal, Canada.

We believe Vivian became a Civil Engineer in the U.S.
