Ina ZALPER - SALPER - TZALPER born about 1968 In Russia

Ina ZALPER - SALPER - TZALPERemigrated from Leningrad, Russia in about 1993 bound for Haifa, Israel. At that time she was in the Leningrad University studying languages.

Ina ZALPER's father played in the Leningrad state orchestra ( we think it was the Oboe) and her mother was a violin teacher. She had an uncle named Boris ZALPER.

During the Glasnost era the family wanted to emigrate to America but as this was refused they were offered Haifa.

Ina arranged for her parents, grandparents and uncle Boris to move from Leningrad to Israel. She had to learn Hebrew which was no problem for her as a language student. She visited England on two occasions. The family also hosted an English Student in their small apartment in Leningrad.

Ina was employed as a trouble shooter for a large IT firm and travelled all over the world in her job. She was engaged to be married to an Army Officer but broke it off. All this is information from around 2000.
